FREE health checks – including tests on BMI (body mass index), blood pressure, lung capacity and heart checks – are being offered to football fans and residents.
Benenden Health, in partnership with York City FC and York Nuffield, is running the tests at York City’s Bootham Crescent ground from 10.30am to 2pm on March 1.
Fans who are attending the home match against Exeter are invited to attend the health checks before the game starts.
Paul Keenan, head of communications at Benenden Health said: “Taking time out to have a preventive health screening is hugely important and can really help give individuals an insight into the current state of their health.”
Pre-booking a slot for a health check is essential – email community@benenden.co.uk to book a health check or to receive further information.
