THE National Dignity in Care Day occurs on Saturday, February 1.
The York Older People’s Assembly is fully supporting the National Dignity Council’s “Ten Point Dignity Challenge”. This sets out very clearly the standards that should be expected in high-quality services.
This requires everyone’s understanding and support. The York Older People’s Assembly will have an information point on Saturday at Clements Hall, Nunthorpe Road (opposite Scarcroft School) between 10am and 4pm. You are warmly invited to come along, find out more, and share ideas on how we can further actively promote the challenge in our city.
Further information on what the Dignity Action Day is all about and what is happening in York can be found on the York Older People’s Assembly’s website at yorkassembly.org.uk/dignity-action-day.
