THE organisers of the York 10K run are celebrating after the Asda Foundation announced it will continue supporting the Jane Tomlinson Run For All 10K series for a further four years.
The series covers road races in Leeds, York, Hull and Burnley and attracts thousands of runners and spectators and has raised millions of pounds for good causes.
Julie Ward, manager of the foundation, which was established by the retail giant to support good causes, said: “Jane was an inspirational figure and through these events her memory continues to inspire people to take on challenges of their own and raise money for a host of good causes.”
The York 10K takes place on Sunday, August 3. For more information and to enter any of the 10Ks, visit www.runforall.com
