A WOMAN who crashed at a petrol station has admitted driving while nearly five times the legal drink-drive limit.
Angela Richings, 50, was arrested at 4.10pm last Tuesday after her car hit a petrol pump in Scalby Road, on the outskirts of Scarborough.
Her official breath test reading was 165 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Richings, of Scalby Avenue, pleaded guilty at Scarborough Magistrates Court to drink driving. She is due to be sentenced on February 20 and has been given an interim driving ban until then.
Staff at the petrol station phoned police after the acccident. No serious damage was caused to the car or the pump.
