I WOULD like to take the opportunity to say how much my family and myself enjoyed the launch night for a new game called Quadblox on Wednesday.
Quadblox is a game of strategy which helps people with learning difficulties join in family activities. It was a charity night in aid of Martin House Hospice and was held at the Severus Social Club in Acomb, where there was a raffle with many donated prizes from businesses in York and caring people in the community.
The night raised £340 and there’s hope of it becoming a regular event as it was very well received.
I would like to say thank you to all the family Sellars for an enjoyable night and look forward to future events.
Janie Broomhead, Beckfield Lane, Acomb, York
