HARROGATE man Kieran Barnes is climbing Mount Kilamanjaro for charity.
The 36-year-old is currently working as a director for humanitarian organisation Medair in Afghanistan.
He will climb the mountain in aid of Medair later this month.
Kieran said: “In Afghanistan where I am currently based we are helping to provide clean water, build latrines, reduce diarrhoea in under-fives, increase the food supply for household, prevent flooding which destroys houses and crops and helping the communities to become stronger and more resilient.”
