FUNDRAISING runners in Tadcaster are being urged to sign up for the town’s Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on Sunday, March 23.
The event will start at Tadcaster Grammar School at 10.30am, with entrants choosing between runs of one, three or six miles.
Mark Swinden, of event organisers Tadcaster Harriers, said: “This is the second time the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile has come to Tadcaster so let’s don the headband, get training and show the rest of the country what we can do.
“In 2012, the Tadcaster Harriers Mile had more than 130 participants, and raised more than £2,400 for Sport Relief. This year we want even more people to get involved to get that total even higher.”
