STUDENTS who regularly miss school have nowhere to hide following the launch of an attendance drive at Goole High School this week.
Staff joined forces with the local police for a first-ever truancy trawl as part of the initiative to drive whole school attendance up to a minimum of 95 per cent.
Attendance officers from the school were supported by PCSO Mike Simpson last Friday when they jointly visited the homes of those students who are regularly absent and also took a tour of well-known truancy haunts, such as local takeaways.
