CHILDREN’S charity Action Medical Research is looking for cyclists to sign up now for its York 100 bike ride this summer.
Participants can register now to secure their places for the event, which takes place on Sunday, August 17. There is a choice of three routes, a 40-mile route, a 67-mile ride and a 102-mile route, all setting out from the University of York.
All the routes are said to be challenging, each being peppered with some climbs, and cater for both experienced and novice cyclists alike.
Cyclists signing up before Valentine’s Day can get a 20 per cent discount on the entry fee – using the voucher code BIKELOVE.
