PAUL Hepworth, the would-be cyclist ‘dictator’, often writes about the perceived rights of car owners to drive everywhere for every journey, no matter how near or far.
As we pay road tax, insurance and fuel tax which all raise huge amounts of revenue for government coffers, I say yes, we do have that right.
As for his constant, doom-laden prophesies of gridlock, why is he so bothered? He can cycle past it all on the path as we all sit warm and dry in our motors.
