Northallerton town centre plans to be unveiled
PLANS to develop the centre of Northallerton will be unveiled this month.
A task force including Hambleton District Council was set up to look at Northallerton’s future following the announcement last year that the town’s prison and Rural Payments Agency would close.
The authority said the sites which the two services occupied have “considerable potential” for regeneration.
The Central Northallerton Masterplan’s options for development will be displayed at the Golden Lion in Northallerton from 3pm to 7pm on February 20.
