POLICE and wildlife enthusiasts will be on night patrols this month to tackle rural crime.
Operation Jumbo is run by North Yorkshire Police with volunteers from the Rural Watch organisation. It focuses on areas around the Selby district.
Several nights of action have been scheduled in February and March and volunteers are invited to attend and join the Rural Watch organisation, which works closely with police all year to help reduce thefts and wildlife crimes.
