Charity marathon runners on track
CHARITY marathon runners from York have completed the first leg of their challenge to run four marathons in four continents.
David Darton and Colin Lea have finished the Tokyo marathon, with David clocking up a time of 3hrs 43mins, while Colin came in at 4hrs 20mins. The pair still have three marathons remaining. They have paid all travel expenses themselves, so all sponsorship cash will go to the Red Cross, the Brain Tumour Charity, Diabetes UK and the Richmond Fellowship.
