RESIDENTS who use recycling centres in East Yorkshire have been reminded to renew their permits as a new system is introduced.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is issuing new permits which do not have an end date, with six being given out each year for household waste.
Permits are not needed for garden waste, while commercial waste is not accepted at the region’s sites.
Permit-holders previously had to renew them each year, with new garden waste passes being issued in place of the former system.
Applications for renewing permits can be made at eastriding.gov.uk/permits, while more information is available by phoning 01482 393939.
