So no more rising bollards are to be installed in the city (The Press, March 4).
There was me thinking they would be the perfect device to place under every council cabinet chair, and they would be activated whenever a stupid decision was agreed on.
I suppose the cost would be prohibitive as a full time engineer would need to be on hand as they would be in almost permanent use.
