Brownies to spend night at museum
BROWNIES from York are taking in part in sponsored sleepovers in the Castle Museum and the Hilton Hotel as part of the organisation’s centenary celebrations.
On Friday, March 14, Brownies from the York Castle division will be spending the evening in the Castle Museum before heading to a sleepover in the Function Suite at the Hilton Hotel.
The sponsored event is being held in conjunction with Hilton Hotels Community Foundation and will raise money for Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People, at Boston Spa.
This year Girl Guiding UK marks the 100th anniversary of the Brownies with the Big Brownie Birthday Stay Away.
