Self-employment topic at Go York lecture
THE chairwoman of York’s tourism agency will be the guest speaking at the next Go York lecture.
Jane Lady Gibson, chairwoman of Visit York, will talk about self-employment in her lecture “How to have a job for 30 years without ever having a career”.
Go York is a series of lectures which bring together York St John University’s academics, high-profile speakers and the local community for a series of events.
The next lecture will take place in De Grey Lecture Theatre, on Thursday, March 13, at 6.30pm, with an arrival reception from 5.45pm. The lecture is free and open to all.
