FORMER child actor and star of the Home Alone films Macauley Culkin is coming to York this summer with his new band.
Culkin, who starred in the first two Home Alone movies in the early 1990s, will perform at The Duchess in Stonebow with his band The Pizza Underground on June 2.
The band began as a joke among Culkin and his friends, and their set lists are made up of pun-infused Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground cover versions, such as Pizza, It Hurts (Venus In Furs), and Take A Bite Of The Wild Slice (Walk On The Wildside), and I’m Waiting For Delivery Man (Waiting For The Man), with Culkin himself performing vocals, kazoo and percussion.
Tickets cost £8 plus booking fee or £10 on the door, and are available from seetickets.com or by phoning 08444 771000.
