A CHARITY football match in aid of Martin House Hospice has raised £1,000.
The match at Energise on March 2 featured a team from Royal Mail take on a team from Emmerdale.
Organisers hope to further raise funds by selling raffle tickets at the Acomb leisure centre at £1 a strip.
