THE farmer’s market in Northallerton is on the move.

The monthly Wednesday market has been held at the northern end of the High Street, by the town hall, for a number of years.

But from the next event, on March 26, it will move down the High Street to a position just by the junction with Zetland Street.

Nigel Davison, market manager with Northern Dales Farmers Markets, said: “We were stuck out on a limb where we were and were no longer getting the same trade.”

He said: “Hambleton District Council have been very supportive of the move and we are very grateful for their help.”
