LORD MAYOR of York Julie Gunnell is hosting a range of activities to mark International Women’s Week in the city.
The string of events, including art demonstrations and fashion and beauty workshops, at the Mansion House are just some of 64 activities arranged for this year’s festival, which began on Saturday.
Co-ordinator Sue Lister says there is something for everyone in this year’s packed programme, from drama and cookery demonstrations to stress-busting therapies and political discussions.
