SHOPS across York have donated prom dresses, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother-of-the bride outfits for a fundraising fashion show at the De Grey Rooms.
The show on Saturday, March 22, starts with reception drinks at 7pm and a performance by York singer Rebecca Newman, before the show starts at 7.30pm.
The event is being organised by Ruby Adds and Sarah Ashton of Thimbelina in Walmgate, and dresses have come from the boutique as well as Wedding Belles and Molly Browns.
Money raised will help former York-based soldier Katrina Brown, who developed systemic sclerosis after being exposed to radiation in Iraq. She needs to raise £100,000 to fund specialist treatment in Chicago.
Admission to the event is free, but to register for a free goody bag go to lovebirds-vintageweddings.co.uk or visit Thimbelina.
All the dresses will be auctioned at the end of the show, and there will be a raffle.
