YORK has been basking in spring sunshine for two days, and the good news is, it is here to stay – for a few more days at least.
Tourists and shoppers poured into the Museum Gardens and Dean's Park to enjoy their first taste of spring.
A forecaster from MeteoGroup said the sunshine was set to continue well into the week ahead.
The outlook looks good for today and tomorrow, with temperatures around 10C or 11C and although Thursday could start grey and foggy the sun will break through in the afternoon.
But enjoy the sunshine while it lasts – by the time the weekend comes around the skies will look greyer and drizzle could be on the way.
