FALCON Tadcaster beat Tramways ‘A’ 5-2 in the York Black Sheep Mixed Darts League.
Falcon took the team game and both pairs before Allan Graham put Tramways on the scoresheet. Mal Smith and Kev Newsome added to Falcon’s tally.
Golden Slipper went 3-0 up against second-placed Tramways ‘B’, but Jill Reed, Steve Smith and Sharon Neads levelled at 3-3. Chris Mathews, who had two 22-dart legs, claimed the last game to seal victory for Tramways ‘B’.
High-flying Marcia Bishopthorpe ran out 6-1 winners against Railway Institute to take a nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Dean Platt gamed in 23 darts and Pete Leake had a 20-darter and a 24-darter for Marcia.
Sandra Bruce scored 100 to prevent the whitewash.
