EAST Riding council is hosting a talk on the county’s treasure from Roman coins to Bronze Age axe heads.
Finds liaison officer Rebecca Griffiths will be speaking at the Treasure House in Beverley tomorrow at 6.30pm, focusing on the thousands of objects found by members of the public in the East Riding landscapes.
Many of the finds are on display in the Treasure House museum and the talk accompanies a new display of archaeological finds discovered in the region.
Tickets cost at £5 from the archives inquiry desk at the Treasure House or 01482 392790.
