A TOP North Yorkshire brewer has presented an award to a local MP.
Denzil Vallance, owner and head brewer at Great Heck Brewery, presented Selby and Ainsty MP Nigel Adams with a Parliamentary Beer Champion award on behalf of The Society of Independent Brewers in recognition of the MP’s work towards achieving last year’s beer duty cut.
Mr Vallance said: “Hopefully a further freeze on beer duty in this year’s budget will help cement the positive effect on our business.”
