LORD Collingwood raced into a 3-0 lead over King William in division one before holding on to win 4-3 in the York White Rose Ladies Darts League.
Jo Palmer and Kim May won the first pairs despite Carol Atkinson’s 100 with Michelle Hill for William.
Irene Bowes fired a ton in tandem with Eileen Carter to win the next for Collingwood.
Hill pulled one back for William, before Jo Palmer made it 4-1. Sarah Crake (100) and Carol Atkinson took the last two games for William.
Maureen Tindall included a 124 in her individual game but her New York side went down 4-3 at home to Carlton Tavern.
Lord Nelson lost the first three games at home to The Ebor.
Deb Jones and Annemarie Black pulled two back for Nelson, but Maggie Adamson took the next to give Ebor a 4-3 success, Acomb Sports went down 4-3 at home to Crescent ‘B’.
In division two, Flag & Whistle’s Toni Smallwood fired a ton in the four-hand and that started a five-game winning run against Clarence.
Carol Sykes Waller and Jayne Cain took the last two for Clarence.
