A SPECIAL laboratory researching air quality and climate change is set to open at the University of York.
The new multi-million pound new facility, called the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories, brings all the university's researchers in the field under one roof.
It will be opened on Monday by the Professor A R Ravishankara from Colorado State University, who will also give a lecture on ozone layer depletion.
The lecture starts at 6pm in the Ron Cooke Hub auditorium.
