OLDER people and their families are being invited to come along to ‘cakes, a cuppa and a good old chin wag’ on Tuesday mornings throughout April.
The sessions, funded by The Joseph Rowntree Foundation, will take place between 10am and noon at Jacobs Well, in Trinity Lane, Bishophill, and aim to collect the oral history and anecdotal stories, alongside people’s experience of Alzheimer’s, in leaflets, which will be made available through local libraries, doctors and hospital waiting rooms.
