YET again Paul Hepworth is wrong about traffic volumes.
On Saturday Lendal Bridge was open to traffic and what difference it made to traffic on Water End. Since August traffic on a Saturday has queued right back to the lights at Salisbury Road, but this Saturday there was only a small queue at Clifton Green and I got through on the first change of the lights.
This proves that all the Lendal Bridge closure has done is move the congestion elsewhere.
As for the next election I will not vote for a dictatorship especially one that wants to dictate every aspect of how to run our lives and make York a suburb of Leeds along with mass destruction of our green belt. I also won’t vote for anyone wanting to sign us up to that communist dictatorship called Europe or whose ultimate aim is to make driving and eating meat illegal.
