THE letters from Tom Scaife (March 11) are always interesting as he usually defends the working class and those at the lower end of life’s bounty.
His latest missive concerns the EU and its monetary problems. Just one observation – his last paragraph comes straight out of the bureaucratic speak manual for MEPs . Is it me – “Poor nations would be given tapered debt relief of up to 100 per cent reflected by their weighted hierarchical economic position in return for enacting progressively defined socially humane economic policies” – or does anybody understand this statement?
Answers in straightforward broad Yorkshire please.
