Chainsaw and metal are stolen from city garages
THIEVES stole a chainsaw, scrap metal and food in a series of breakins around York.
Overnight on Wednesday, February 26, a car was broken into in Stockton Lane and a yellow and black McCulloch chainsaw was taken from the boot.
The same night, a garage was broken into on Penleys Grove Street and a quantity of scrap metal was stolen.
On Friday, February 28, frozen food was stolen from a garage in Burtree Avenue, Skelton.
Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
