MOUNTAIN rescue teams searching for a Selby man who disappeared while walking in the Lake District have found a body.
James Lonsdale, 53, was last seen on Tuesday. He had gone walking on Scafell Pike, and Cumbria Police yesterday confirmed a man’s body had been found near the Great Gable summit.
A force spokesman said last night the body has not yet been formally identified.
