Barnardo’s in online predator warning
NEW statistics released by children’s charity Barnardo’s show the dangers of social media in attempted sexual exploitation in Yorkshire.
Research shows that more than one third of children being supported by Barnardo’s to escape child sexual exploitation in Yorkshire have been targeted through social media.
The announcement comes as Barnardo’s launches a hard-hitting TV advert highlighting the issue.
