RAF and Royal Navy jet pilots are preparing for further training after graduating from RAF Linton-on- Ouse.
A ceremony was held for families of the seven graduating officers who were presented with their wings by Air Commodore David Waddington.
Group Captain Dave Cooper, station commander, said: “As one of the world’s oldest military flying training schools we take great pride in the quality of our training, which is reflected in the achievements of these young men.
“I was delighted to welcome Air Commodore Waddington to RAF Lintonon- Ouse to present wings to our graduating pilots.”
Wing Commander Baz Dale, Officer Commanding 72 (Reserve) Squadron, said: “These young men have worked very hard to earn the right to wear their wings, and their families should be justifiably proud.
“I am grateful to my team of qualified flying instructors, and the broad range of station military, civil servant and contractor support who have helped to provide an outstanding training environment and make this success possible.”
The new pilots will now undergo training at RAF Valley in Wales, and will go on to fly the Typhoon or Tornado GR4.
