A SCULPTURE has been stolen from a York art gallery.
The limited edition sculpture of a boat was taken from the Whitewall Gallery in Davygate between 3pm and 4pm on Sunday March 2.
It measures 9in by 12in, and is valued at £300.
PC Cheryl Hunter, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you witnessed the theft or have seen the sculpture since in was stolen, I ask that you contact the police as soon as possible.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered it and ask them to get in contact straight away.”
