I RECENTLY purchased a new mobile phone with a new number, almost the first call told me I could claim money for my recent accident (“just press 9”).

This week I received a call from a company telling me I could have a new gas boiler for free if I (“press 2”) along with the first call wanting to claim compensation for my accident being repeated.

Why must we continually be badgered by these desperate companies in the hope someone will fall for their lies. My last accident was at five years old and I just had a new boiler fitted last year.

Is there no way we can stop these nuisance calls.
