YORK'S hospital charity is planning a dreamy fundraiser amid the engines of the National Railway Museum this midsummer.
The York Teaching Hospital Charity is holding a Midsummer Night's Ball at the museum on Saturday, June 21, and tickets are now on sale.
The charity's third annual ball, it will be hosted by Radio York presenter Elly Fiorentini.
It starts at 6.30pm with a drinks reception, followed by a three course sit down meal at 7.30pm, and will finish at midnight.
The night will include a raffle, auction and casino, live music from The Mojos, and entertainment from magician Alfie Whattam.
Money raised will help refurbish five Labour Ward rooms at York Hospital to improve the surroundings for mothers in the unit.
Tickets cost £60 and tables of 10 are available for £550. Sponsorship opportunities are available and prize donations will be appreciated. To buy tickets contact 01904 724521 or charity.fundraising@york.nhs.uk.
