NOW the figures have come out re the Lendal bridge fines and the council is said to have harvested £600,000, the real question is where did the other £2.1 million go to?
If it has been spent administering a couple of automatic cameras for six and a half hours a day, one thousand seven hundred pounds an hour is highly lucrative for somebody.
45,000 fines @ £60 = £2,700,000 total, did each fine really cost more than £46 to issue? Rip off Britain rules!
