Selby MP hails extra £7.1m for North Yorkshire schools
SELBY and Ainsty MP Nigel Adams has welcomed a Government announcement that schools in North Yorkshire will receive £7.1 million in extra funding in 2015/16 to address a historic unfairness in the way money is allocated.
The Tory MP said the additional funding was part of a proposed £350 million boost to the most underfunded local authorities.
