AFTER months of rehearsals, young dancers from York's Clover School of Dance are ready to take to the stage with their version of Alice in Wonderland.
The students have been preparing sonce October, and performers aged from two to 18 now ready for curtain-up.
The show will tell the much loved Lewis Carroll story of Alice's adventures through music and dance, and will include some of the weird and wonderful creatures she meets including funky oysters, caterpillars and crabs.
Elaine Brittain runs Clover Dance School with her daughter Heather Taylor. She said: "The dancers are all very excited. Especially the three and four year olds, who have never been on stage before."
The show takes place at Archbishop Holgate's School on Friday March, 21, Saturday, March 22, Friday , March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at 7pm. Tickets are available on the door and cost £6 for adults, £4 for seniors and £3 for children. All profits go to The Sick Children's Trust.
