A NORTH Yorkshire MP has appealed to musicians to enter a national competition which could give them the chance to play this summer’s festivals and win studio time and equipment.
Entries for Rock The House – a Parliamentary contest which raises awareness of protecting intellectual property rights – close on March 31.
It is sponsored by the music industry and supported by famous patrons such as Queen guitarist Brian May.
Musicians and bands can submit a track online and have their work judged by professionals.
Selby and Ainsty MP Nigel Adams, a supporter of the competition, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for exposure in a very competitive business.”
