Boy, two, dies after falling into pond
A TWO-year-old boy died after falling into a private pond in East Yorkshire, Humberside Police said.
The toddler was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance after falling into the pond in Woodmansey, Beverley, on Monday, but died a short time later.
A police spokesman said a 29-year-old woman was arrested following the incident, and has since been released on bail until the end of April.
Specially trained police officers are with the boy’s family and are offering them support.
