Spring is well and truly sprung as daffodils brighten up the city walls
WHAT a picture our lovely city of York looks with all the beautiful daffodils around everywhere.
City walls, Clifford’s Tower, all dressed up to welcome spring and visitors to our historic city which I am proud to live in.
Two years ago I paid £30 for 200 daffy bulbs, to be planted on the stretch of the city walls from Walmgate Bar to Red Tower on Foss Islands Road.
They are now in full bloom.
Just ring the council and it will do the same. Mine were in memory of my dad.
