ROAD officials are looking at ways to improve safety where three people died in a car crash last year.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue’s road safety tactical group said officers have begun conducting seatbelt surveys and speed surveys along the B1248 where Iwona Bartczak, 40, and her son Konrad, 18, and Rysard Orlowski, 47, died as they travelled to work at the Malton Bacon Factory last November.
The group is liaising with Malton businesses to educate employees about road safety.
