THE recent calls for rivers and roads to be made safer begs the question as to whom is at fault?
Why do young people need to get drunk before they go on to a night club?
What happened to self-control, respect for themselves and their families who always describe them as thoughtful, loving youngsters, not so, or these sort of devastating events would never occur.
The same with the roads, nothing wrong here either, drivers are at fault, driving without due care and consideration for themselves and their passengers and other road users, no lights and passing at speed when foggy, etc.
It is good to enjoy oneself but not at some one else’s expense, A & E departments are full of these selfish, thoughtless people of all ages.
