POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a van driver who did not stop after injuring a 17-year-old cyclist.
According to a North Yorkshire Police spokesman, the grey or silver van “cut up” the cyclist at the junction of Holgate Road and Blossom Street between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Friday.
The cyclist fell off, but the van did not stop, drove off along Blossom Street and turned right into Nunnery Lane.
The cyclist suffered injuries to his leg and back but did not need hospital treatment.
