A CLUBBER has suffered serious head and facial injuries at a North Yorkshire nightclub.
The man was at Club Amadeus in Northallerton at about 2.10am on Sunday (MAR 23), when he fell forward and suffered serious injuries. He remains in James Cook Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police have urged anyone who was at the club who saw the victim prior to the incident to contact them, and also want to speak to anyone who saw a man leave the club very quickly after the incident.
A spokesman said police also want to speak to a woman who was seen with a man before they both fell over on the dance floor together minutes before the victim was injured.
Detective Sergeant Simon Hepburn of Northallerton CID, said: “We urge anyone who was in the club at the time to contact us, even if they think their information is insignificant, please contact us as it could be very important to our enquiries."
A man in his twenties from Darlington was arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail.
Anyone with information should phone police on 101, email simon.hepburn@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or Andrew.palmer@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
