FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of drug-dealing offences after they were pulled over in a car.
North Yorkshire Police’s Road Crime Team stopped a Renault Clio containing two men and a 19-year-old woman at Headley Bar near Tadcaster at about 9pm on Monday, and carried out a search of the car.
Officers found a carrier bag filled with cannabis, and a strip search of the woman found class A drugs.
The woman, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A 20-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Whitby, who were also in the car were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Following the arrest, officers searched an address in Whitby in the early hours of the morning, and found a carrier bag half-filled with cannabis.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs at the property.
