YORK choir Harmonix is performing in a charity concert at the Auditorium, at The Gateway Centre, in Acomb, next weekend.
The choir is known for its stunning harmonies and sings a variety of songs from the Sixties through to the present day.
It will be accompanied by York band ‘Union Central’ in a concert lasting about two hours including an interval.
The concert is at 7.30pm on Saturday. Admission is £4 on the door including refreshments. Doors open at 7.00pm.
Proceeds will go to Acts 435, The Archbishop of York’s online giving charity to help local people in need.

Acts 435 allows people to donate directly to meet particular people’s individual needs worth up to £100, such as appliances for people in need of debt relief.
Gateway Church is waiving the hire fee for the concert and the charity’s executive director Jenny Herrera will be there to share information.
